Me, Myself and Infrastructure
Me, Myself and Infrastructure took the unique approach of examining civil engineering from a consumer’s-eye view. It captured museum visitors by dramatizing everyday experience within engaging environments.
Me, Myself and Infrastructure explored fundamental public concerns about technology and society. Its bases were the questions that people ask in the rare moments when they stop and think about infrastructure: Who’s Responsible?, Is it Safe?, Why So Big?, Is It Available?, How Much Does It Cost, How Long Will It Last? Each of these questions was paired with a type of environment and a geographical location.
The American Society of Civil Engineers sponsored Me, Myself and Infrastructure in celebration of their 150th anniversary. With many venues around the country, the exhibition was well received in all its showings. We created the exhibition, exhibition brochure, poster, and invitation. We also created a small-format traveling exhibition and tabletop display. In addition to project conception, development, production, and travel management, we established collaborative partnerships between cultural institutions.
